Do you want to shape and lead how NCC manages critical supplier risks across some of the Nordic region’s most complex construction projects? We are now looking for a Supplier Due Diligence & Risk Manager to take ownership of due diligence processes, risk assessments, and supplier control programs at project level — enabling more robust, compliant, and data-informed purchasing decisions.

Purchasing is one of NCC’s top priorities for securing long-term success. As an integrated business partner, we play a key role in winning and delivering profitable construction projects.

The role and key responsibilities

As a Supplier Due Diligence & Risk Manager, you will lead and develop NCC’s approach to supplier due diligence and risk management in projects. You adopt a functional leadership approach by actively implementing and supporting the development of frameworks, facilitating decision-making processes, and empowering project teams to implement due diligence practices effectively.

Your main responsibilities include:

Supplier Due Diligence & Risk Assessment

  • Lead and govern structured supplier risk assessments at project level according to NCC’s Key Supplier framework.

  • Coordinate and execute assessments for projectcritical suppliers.

  • Ensure highquality documentation with clear risk ratings, mitigation strategies, and decision rationale.

Contractual Compliance & Control Mapping

  • Oversee analysis of customer contracts to identify compliance requirements and risk areas and lead the mapping of requirements against NCC’s internal controls, identify gaps, and validate additional projectspecific controls.

  • Approve and ensure delivery of a tailored Supplier Control Program for projects.

Governance & Resource Coordination

  • Lead and coordinate SQRM specialists, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of supplier due diligence in appointed projects.

  • Contribute to developing governance structures and methodologies across NCC’s procurement and risk work.

Deviation Management & Continuous Monitoring

  • Oversee the monitoring, tracking, and escalation of compliance deviations.

  • Ensure accurate and transparent documentation in relevant systems for audit readiness and controlled followup.

About Purchasing at NCC

NCC Purchasing is a network of professionals across the company. We handle everything from project purchasing and supplier base development to strategic sourcing and category management. Collaboration between our teams is key to delivering successful customer projects. You will join the Supplier Quality & Risk Management (SQRM) organization and be a member of Supplier Intelligence.

Your experience and background

We are looking for an experienced specialist who can drive complex due diligence and risk processes, set strategic direction, and build strong cross‑functional collaboration. You combine analytical rigor with clear communication and a structured way of working, and you are proactive, result‑oriented, and skilled at navigating both strategic and operational complexity. You embrace self‑leadership, have a strong drive and a “get‑it‑done” mindset, and you are comfortable testing different approaches to move forward. With your ability to simplify complexity, quickly connect the dots, and build strong relationships across functions, you contribute clarity, momentum and alignment in demanding environments.

Requirements specification:

  • Several years of experience in procurement, supplier management, supply chain, risk management or similar fields, including supplier due diligence and compliance (ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, 31000, 45001, IWA 48:2024, SA8000).

  • Proven project management experience in complex purchasing or project‑based environments, with ability to lead teams across functions and locations.

  • Strong understanding of supplier risk management, compliance, contract structures and sustainability integration (construction industry experience is an advantage).

  • Skilled in designing and leading multi‑dimensional due diligence processes and defining risk‑mitigation actions.

  • Strong analytical capability, able to interpret data, identify risks, set KPIs and support data‑driven decisions.

  • High business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into operational objectives and measurable outcomes.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills across procurement, legal, project teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics; fluent in English and at least one Nordic language.

  • Proficient in analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Risk Analytics, Dow Jones, EU data sources).

  • Academic degree or equivalent relevant experience.

If you meet these criteria and are ready to contribute to our Purchasing Transformation journey, we invite you to apply. Your passion, drive, and commitment will help us achieve new heights through digitalization and innovation in the construction industry.
