Are you a great communicator with excellent collaboration skills and want to work with our digital development? Do you have experience from the construction industry and great knowledge about the usage of VDC?
Due to our colleague parental leave we are now searching for a substitute for a one-year assignment starting in March. You will be a part of a Nordic team containing of seven members.
Our team are part of the Group function DOS Finance which leads NCC’s Finance as well as strategy development and major change programs in the business. Within the Development & Operations part of the unit (DOS), we are 140+ employees. DOS also drives the research and innovation and is NCC’s development and delivery function for IT and operations development.
The role as VDC Development Manager
If you like digitalization, this is the position for you! We aim to digitalize our company and make our projects paperless. To reach our objective you will work in close collaboration with BA:s and staff functions where you will lead and coordinate our VDC concept against business representatives. You will lead the VDC implementation steps against our business and handle development requests and act on them.
You will need to have knowledge about VDC because you will be the bridge between the organization and our technicians in communicating and supporting the technical development with material and change management.
We are in a major digitalization process where VDC is a part of our internal project. We expect you to also be part in initiatives as a representative from Group VDC.
To be successful you have a relevant education within, management, construction, communication or another relevant field with at least 5 years of experience within the construction industry where you have gained experience in VDC. You have previous experience implementing new way of working together with proven change management skills. We value that you have experience in collaboration work between different business areas and supporting functions.
First, you are a team player and result oriented in meeting long term goals. You need to have the ability to pursue, build long lasting relations and adjust solutions to our different business area needs. You are a great communicator with the ability handle complex information and make it understandable for your surroundings as well as a strong desire to digitalize our industry.
The vacancy is a one-year substitute between March 2021 to April 2022 with the possibility of extension. Preferred location is Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo or Stockholm. You will report to Head of Group VDC located in Sweden.
