NCC to build residential care facility in Copenhagen for SEK 178 million

NCC Construction Denmark has been commissioned to build a new residential care facility in Ørestad, Copenhagen. The client is the housing company AKB and work will be conducted in the form of a total-package contract. The order value is approximately SEK 178 million.
Project-design work has started and is expected to proceed until October, following which construction will commence. The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2012.
The residential care facility comprises 114 apartments on seven stories, plus various service areas on the ground floor. In total, the residential care facility will measure 10,000 square meters.
Order registration will take place during the second quarter of 2010.
