The focus will be on the successful urban planning initiatives that were key to Stockholm being chosen.

Program and audience

The overall aim of the conference is to discuss how we can achieve long-term urban development and how Stockholm’s experiences can help. The conference is aimed primarily at politicians, officials, investors, developers and consultants involved in sustainable building.

The program includes leading Swedish and International speakers and subjects under discussion will range from sustainable urban planning and energy-efficient building to upgrading ageing buildings and housing stock.

The second day of the conference will involve detailed field trips to world-class urban development projects around Stockholm. NCC will show new passive houses in Beckomberga as well as the development of Stockholm Royal Seaport, also a founding project of the Climate Positive Development Program, a Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) program.
